By-Election to be held for Netsilik: Taloyoak and Kugaaruk

The MLA for Netsilik Jeannie Ugyuk has given up her seat. A by-election will be held early in the new year.

Any resident of Nunavut who is qualified to vote may be a candidate in this by-election. However, only qualified Nunavut voters who are residents of the Netsilik constituency on the day the Chief Electoral Officer issues the Writ may vote in this by-election. To determine if you are qualified to be a candidate or to vote in this by-election, follow the link in the Candidates & Campaigns section.

Gjoa Haven Liquor Plebiscite

Gjoa Haven will be holding a liquor plebiscite on December 14th, 2015. An advance vote will be held on December 7th, 2015. Residents of Gjoa Haven who are qualified to vote may vote in this plebiscite.
