I'd like to run in the Nattilik by-election

How do I run?

Get a copy of the Guide for Candidates from Elections Nunavut.
Double Check with your employer - they may have rules or policies you must follow. For example Government of Nunavut employees must take a leave of absence.
Get a copy of the Declaration of Candidacy from Elections Nunavut or your local Returning Officer.
Find a financial agent - you MUST have a financial agent.
Find a campaign manager.
Properly fill out the Declaration of Candidacy form and give it to your Returning Officer or Assistant Returning Officer with your $200 deposit between March 22 and March 26 2010

March 22, 2010 - opening of nominations period
March 26, 2010 - 2:00pm closing of nomination period
April 12, 2010 - voting in the office of the Returning Officer opens at the Hunters and Trappers Association Office in Gjoa Haven
April 19, 2010 - mobile poll available in Gjoa Haven and Taloyoak, adavance poll in Taloyoak Hamlet Chambers 12:00pm-7:00pm
April 26, 2010 - Election Day Gjoa Haven Community Hall - 8am-6pm and Taloyoak Hamlet Chambers - 8am-6pm
